Idiocracy

A new word for me. I heard it on the radio recently and have been trying to make sense of it.

One definition of the word is:

Peculiarity of constitution; that temperament, or state of constitution, which is peculiar to a person; idiosyncrasy.

But I got the feeling that another definition was intended:

idoit-an utterly foolish or senseless person and -cracy meaning to “rule”.

Hmmm...

Rest

I'm thinking it's time to get out. I like camping and there's not many things better than a still evening and a good fire. While some do like the sm'ore as well as other snacks, I find the camp fire relaxing.

What are some of your moments of rest?

Confession

I saw this today and thought wow...

Tragedy

A student died at school today.

There are 3 classrooms in our building that work with disabled students. This student had significant challenges.

All the right steps were taken and everthing possible was done.

(A prayer for the family and the students and staff of that class)

I had a good laugh when I saw this. I wonder what parents would do if they had to explain to their cafine energized child that they could not keep the puppy?
