Before the Rampage

I was reading a blog discussing Napoleon and what he wrote while in exile. He was making some comparisons between Jesus and himself. He made no claims but he did observe that while he had the power to command men while in their presence, Jesus had the ability to invite men to love Him even after he was gone. I was intrigued to find a response to this blog which stated

"Just like our prison population. Always AFTER the conquering, after the senseless blood shed, rape and murder do they find AND BELIEVE IN THE IMAGINARY MAN IN THE SKY. Wish they could “find” him before they start on their rampages."

Why do we have to get to the point of regret before we see what was missed?

I wonder how many times my community/village watched me as I made bad/poor choices hoping I would survive or amount to something? I wonder if we try to do too much on our own before we seek wisdom from those who have traveled the road before us? I have my "giants" who I look towards.

Trust begins with Risk...

Who moves first? The one with experience or the one we most often called "troubled".

I need to say "thank you" to some people...
